Cancellation policy

Consumers generally have a statutory right of cancellation for contracts concluded away from business premises and for distance contracts. The following information applies to orders in the Franquinet online shop.

Widerrufsrecht

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

by means of a clear statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email, of your decision to cancel this contract. You may use the model cancellation form below, but this is not mandatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

You may also exercise your right of cancellation online using the form below or via the Cancel contract page. If you use this online function, we will promptly send you confirmation of receipt of your cancellation on a durable medium, for example by email.

Folgen des Widerrufs

If you cancel this contract, we must reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your cancellation.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period expires.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to check their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Return shipment

Please return the goods packaged as securely as possible and, where available, with the original invoice or order number. For valuable numismatic pieces, we recommend a trackable and sufficiently insured shipping method.

Special statutory exceptions to the right of cancellation, for example for goods whose price depends on fluctuations in financial markets, remain unaffected. If such an exception applies to a product, this will be shown separately during the ordering process.
