Payment methods

Payment processing in the Franquinet online shop is handled via WooCommerce Pro with WooPayments. WooCommerce Germanized supplements the checkout with legal texts, mandatory information, and order notices required for the German market.

The payment methods offered to you depend on the cart, delivery country, technical availability, and the activated WooPayments methods. The binding selection is always made at checkout.

Credit and debit card

You can pay with common credit and debit cards if they are offered at checkout. Payment data is processed via WooPayments; Franquinet does not store complete card data in the shop.

Apple Pay and Google Pay

If your device, browser, and stored card support it, Apple Pay or Google Pay may be displayed as fast payment methods at checkout.

PayPal

If PayPal is active via the WooCommerce/WooPayments configuration, you can pay the invoice amount via your PayPal account or the payment sources offered there. Payment approval takes place directly through PayPal.

SEPA, Sofort, Klarna, and other local payment methods

Depending on configuration, WooPayments can provide additional European payment methods. These may include SEPA direct debit, Sofort, Klarna, or country-specific methods. Please note the information, deadlines, and conditions shown at checkout.

Advance payment / bank transfer

If advance payment is offered at checkout, you will receive payment information after completing the order. Shipping takes place after receipt of payment. Please include the order number with bank transfers so the payment can be assigned correctly.

Sicherheit

The checkout is integrated into WooCommerce and processes payment data via the connected payment service providers. Germanized additionally ensures that legal notices, terms and conditions, cancellation policy, and privacy information are visibly included in the ordering process.

All offered payment methods are displayed again before the order is submitted. Only when completing the order do you make a binding selection of the desired payment method.
